Sassified was a good flat winner in Ireland and has been given a good chance to learn her trade over hurdles by connections. Sassified is now on its career low mark and should be well poised to take a big step forward here over a trip that looks ideal and on the better ground which is sure to suit. Represents a very good chance today of place money at the very least.
16:50 Haydock – Quick Change
1.5 points each way
Course and distance winner Quick Change seemed to be in very good form when last seen and better than the overall finish suggested when just 2 lengths down in a bunched finish. She should strip much fitter for this one today and a return to Haydock is another big positive. Confirmed front runner and may get an easy lead of things here, looks to have a fantastic chance.
17:05 Kempton – Covert Mission
1.5 points each way
Trained by the in form KP de Foy, Covert Mission as won five times on the all weather and is two wins from four over todays course and distance. Has a good record at this distance and reverts back to the all weather after having raced and disappointed on turf last time out. Looks well handicapped and is very much a rock solid in this line up.
19:10 Kempton – Dubai Dawn
1.5 points each way
Dubai Dawn is well worth a chance here having flopped on the turf last time out but if not for that would be much shorter here. 2/2 on the AW and may just be one of those horses who’s better suited to this surface. Trip is absolutely fine and does like to race prominent which should have her in good stead here at Kempton. Draw is okay but her early pace should see her make better use of that and get across nice and early. Rossa Ryan booked is a big positive too.
