ALPHONSE LE GRANDE was a dual AW winner; best of his four hurdle runs for this yard when beaten around 5l in sixth in a 2m Thurles handicap in February; banned for 42 days after rider judged to have failed to obtain best possible placing; did not jump well on recent Punchestown outing; unwise to rule out; non runner at Roscommon yesterday.

HIGH SECURITY can have issues in the stalls and as a result isn’t that consistent, but he gave it a good go from the front when close up at Nottingham last week (5f, good to firm); not far away if producing something similar.
