OBAMA ARMY performed well to win over 1m at Bath last month and followed up with a second when stepped up to 1m 1f at Carlisle eleven days ago. Has won one and finished runner-up on the other three of his last four starts so has been a really consistent performer lately, against a field today who probably lack that consistency. He’s a three year old who’s open to more improvement and shouldn’t be far away today.

15:00 – Lingfield – Beau Jardine

1.5 points each-way

I think BEAU JARDINE is well worth taking a chance on today at the prices. After a very promising start to life racing and being rated 89 after two wins and a good second off that mark he was then off the track for a year. Came back since and just hasn’t really hit that level again but has been tumbling down the weights and now is here on a mark of just 55, 34 lower than the second at Doncaster so is extremely appealing. Signs recently that a return to form is imminent with some close finishes. Decent draw in stall three and is against a lot more exposed rivals here.

16:15 – Southwell – Mrs Kinsella

1.5 points each-way

MRS KINSELLA showed her mark to be a workable one when getting collared late on last time out, paying for the big move from last to first with nothing left near finish. Jockey will have learned from that and I am sure will make his move much later today. Big chance from just 2lb higher today with a good 5lb claimer in the saddle.
