Yarmouth 18:40 – Sir Oliver

1.5 points each way

Sir Oliver has done his fair share of racing but he’s well suited to the test. He’s raced here twice before, while winning and placing on those occasions. He should appreciate the quick ground where he has a 50% strike rate and as the only confirmed front runner, he could get an easy lead. He’s been busy so far this season so he should be fit enough to see out his lead. His best performances on the ratings will have him at the top of this field but he obviously needs to produce that.

Chelmsford 19:20 – Dabbous

1.5 points each way

Dabbous is well worth chancing at a big price given his effort over the course and distance last time out. He was closing with every stride but the line came too quickly, however, connections will be encouraged with that and the tactics may be tweaked slightly. He’s been given a 2lb rise for that effort and although he is drawn widest and up in class, he can go well. He will need to take another step forward but the booking of Ben Curtis looks a positive and he’s well worth his chancing.

Chelmsford 20:50 – Anificas Beauty

1.5 points each way

Anificas Beauty has raced here five times in her 13 starts so she’s clearly well suited to the track in the thoughts of connections. She has won here three times while placing on the other occasion, so she performs well here. She is up in grade but there’s nothing to fear in the field and she’s been very consistent to start the year. Bell Song looks the danger but he has a wide draw to contend with and he won’t be quick enough out the gate to get across. She should be running her race and there isn’t too fear if she continues her progression.
