The Cork run of ASHWIYAA was franked by the winner of that race at Tipperary during the week and with this longer trip likely to suit, she looks the one to beat. Rush Queen, Zelestial and Zona Verde have all shown enough to warrant place claims, although the Weld newcomer Blue Poppy could emerge the major threat.

Several closely matched here but the drop in trip could be just what SWEETEST ROSE needs and she can get off the mark at the seventh attempt. Sibyl Charm can push her close, while Ferrari Desert could improve enough from a promising recent debut effort to feature. Market support for Jessica Harrington’s debutante Nelda should be noted.

A likeable winner at Roscommon on Thursday on this quicker ground, QUEEN OF SEDUCTION only now appears to be coming into herself and she is taken to follow up over this longer trip back in handicap company. Other recent winners All In Peder and Red Vermillion look likely dangers from the foot of the handicap, with Away To Sea and Zileo others to consider.

Quite an open-looking maiden. NARMAR nearly nicked a similar race at Killarney last month when a clear second and narrowly gets preference here over Highland Rahy, Livio Milo and Sea Gardens.
16:07 Listowel – Manhattan Dandy
A difficult handicap to solve but a chance can be taken on MANHATTAN DANDY. He is a 41-race maiden but put in an encouraging effort when third at Roscommon, travelling notably well and he can finally break his duck. Swiss Army Officer stayed on strongly to win at the same track but has found it difficult to follow up victories in the past, while Princess Rajj would be a danger if a return to this track sparks a revival.
16:37 Listowel – Soyounique
Both Skontonovski and Simply Sideways arrive here in good form but SOYOUNIQUE might offer some each-way value. He will have to break alertly from his outside draw but is handicapped to strike on his preferred good ground. Miss Cunning is just 1lb lower than for winning a handicap at this meeting last season and she has claims if she can shrug off a poor effort at Killarney on her latest start.
17:07 Listowel – Taipan
This looks another good opportunity for TAIPAN after he landed a similar event at Killarney last month. The slight drop in trip should pose no issues and the fifth that day Female Soldier looks the most likely one to chase him home now with a 10lb swing in the weights to factor in.
