14:05 – Spanish Flame

The Ger Lyons-trained SPANISH FLAME made a favourable impression when staying on well for fourth at Leopardstown and can collect here, possibly at the main expense of High Morale who made a pleasing debut at this venue ten days ago. The experience garnered in two runs could help Thia to make her presence felt on different ground.

14:35 – Meggy Moo

A competitive contest and plenty have chances. Noel Meade had a treble here last week and a tentative vote goes to MEGGY MOO, who might not have been far away at Sligo with luck in running. Cherry Pink and Alfarida may be next best of quite a few with chances.

15:05 – Capuchinero

Two from four at Dundalk since joining Joseph O’Brien, CAPUCHINERO left a good impression at Cork on his first Irish start on turf. He should be better for the run, his first since January, and is preferred to Iva Batt who looked in good shape when second at the Curragh last Sunday. Red Heel and Vadiana can also feature.

15:35 – Voice Of Reason

Quite a hot little race. Once-raced Harbour Wind has a stiff task at the weights, while there would have to be a question about Pivotal Trigger on the ground. Ger Lyons might not be long about hitting some form and VOICE OF REASON will be hard to peg back after looking a very nice prospect on his Curragh debut in August.

16:05 – Celebrating Ethel

A very weak maiden and while Banned sets the standard it is far from insurmountable. Isotta and Cara Susanna both have claims, as does Queen Of Seduction though she probably wants it softer. The selection is CELEBRATING ETHEL, who ran quite an eye-catching race over 1m4f at Leopardstown last time and could well progress. Any market moves for Spring Wind should be taken seriously.

16:35 – Star Kissed (NAP)

A very competitive race. Last week’s winner Halla Ban will appreciate the step up in trip, while Rattle And Hum comes here in good form and is just 2lb higher for his convincing Sligo maiden win. The selection is the unexposed STAR KISSED (NAP) who did not quite get home over 1m6f at the Curragh and will be very hard to beat here.

17:05 – Notturno

Noel Meade’s team is in fine shape and NOTTURNO may keep up the good work by confirming Sligo form with Show No Fear and Upepo. Glyde Ranger deserves respect on the basis of two third placings, one of which matches him closely with Upepo.
