Despite unpromising recent form-figures BIG BABY BULL may retain enough ability to win a race of this standard. His sights are lowered following a handicap outing at the Curragh last Friday. Bringsty merits consideration along with his stablemate Qasbaz on last week’s Gowran running. Hypernova has done most of his racing at Dundalk but is arguably more effective on turf.
17:15 – Collage
Only denied in the closing strides after running green on her debut at Gowran recently, COLLAGE gets the vote here, ahead of Not Forgotten. Place claims are held by the likes of Chiketto, City Exile and Woodcock Flight.
17:45 – Moral Turpitude
An interesting contest. Tiger Belle had Jenni and MORAL TURPITUDE behind when making a winning debut at Cork but now reopposes the pair on 4lb worse terms, the latter could get a lot closer this time having raced on the wrong side at Cork. Supersonic Man debuted in a stronger race at Naas and could well improve to feature here for connections who had a Group 3-winning juvenile at the weekend.
18:15 – Never Shout Never
A weak maiden. Heartrate holds every chance on several of his runs but his finishing efforts of late have been tame and he remains vulnerable. Saturn Seven is surprisingly dropped in trip after having looked to find 6f on the sharp side last Friday so a chance is taken on the Fozzy Stack-trained newcomer NEVER SHOUT NEVER making an immediate impact.

18:45 – Collective Power
This is the first time at 5f for Cash Or Crypto who holds a strong chance on the basis of a second placing over 6f at Naas on his seasonal debut. However, slight preference is for COLLECTIVE POWER whose Dundalk form has been distinguished by consistency. Curraheen Princess was reliable last year and can be expected to show the benefit of her seasonal debut. Now that the ground has improved, Only Spoofing could go well at a decent price.
19:15 – Sams Xpress
With the return to quicker ground SAM’S EXPRESS can pick up the winning thread, chiefly at the expense of El Tesoro and So Majestic.
19:45 – Cleopatras Needle
A creditable fourth at Navan on her first outing of the season CLEOPATRA’S NEEDLE (nap) looks capable of winning off this mark. The ex-French Sea Oscar has shown potential for success in her races at Dundalk. Tastyee has been running well over shorter distances and should be in the mix if she stays. Miss Upbeat shaped quite well in her first handicap.
20:15 – Milwaukee
Two runners each for Aidan and Joseph O’Brien here, and it could pay to study the market for clues. If first-time blinkers do the trick MILWAUKEE can be fancied to do better now that the ground has improved. He holds big-race entries, which is not the case with his 86-rated stablemate Cape Bridgewater. Albert Park should improve from his debut, and his stablemate The Great Kingdom appeals on pedigree.
