Lucky 15 Tips Today: Saturday’s best bets across the tracks using our NAPs table

Four horses, four courses, one Lucky 15!

Saturday’s Lucky 15 tips

14:25 Haydock – Defence Of Fort
15:10 Goodwood – Aggagio
16:15 Curragh – King Of Scotia
16:40 Chester – Absolutelyflawless

Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:25 Haydock – Defence Of Fort (Times)

Topweight Killybegs Warrior is a tempting option having run really well for a long way over 1m2f in the Dante but preference is for DEFENCE OF FORT, who impressed on his debut at Ascot last July and could tap back into that promise on this first run since being gelded. The unexposed Gosden-trained handicap newcomer Covey could be another major player, while James McHenry, Gincident and Royal Cape all having improving profiles.

15:10 Goodwood – Aggagio (The Sun)

The intriguing horse is Courage Mon Ami who whistled home in a pair of 1m4f novices last season. An Ascot Gold Cup entry would suggest that connections are hopeful of a lot more from him this year. He could be too good, but a chance is taken with AGGAGIO who has a great record around here and looked full of himself in winning a competitive hurdle at a big Haydock meeting last month. Nathanael Greene should also go well.

16:15 Curragh – King Of Scotia (Daily Mail)

Red Letter Bray is likely to be popular in his hat-trick bid but it might be worth taking a chance on his stablemate KING OF SCOTIA who might be up to reversing last month’s Naas form. The latter was an eyecatcher when finishing off his race well having met some trouble in running in a subsequent outing and he should relish the return to this trip. There are no shortage of potential dangers including Aidan O’Brien’s first-string Farnborough who is an intriguing runner back down in trip with blinkers on and Tough Talk who is much better than he showed last time out.

16:40 Chester – Absolutelyflawless (Racing Post)

Radio Goo Goo has been a revelation this year and Thursday’s impressive Haydock success was another step up the ladder. She’s dangerous to ignore in her current form but she might face some competition up front and ABSOLUTELYFLAWLESS is preferred. David Loughnane’s filly showed she had trained on when getting up late in a well-run race at Wolverhampton 12 days ago and can gain a second course win. Royal Dress is 11lb better off with Radio Goo Goo for 2l on their run here at the May meeting and is considered, while both Distinguished Lady and Palm Lily have more to come this year.
