14:05 – Global Famenglory
Shandancer was back in good form at Fontwell recently and probably won’t go down without a fight but consistent mare GLOBAL FAMENGLORY is favoured by today’s weights and gets the nod.
14:35 – The Eminent Goose
Poet’s Reflection has taken well to chasing this spring, while Princess Midnight, Spot On Soph and Heneryetta Bay all have something going for them too. However, the most appealing option is THE EMINENT GOOSE, who displayed clear promise on her two hurdling starts in March and should have some improvement to come in handicaps over fences.
15:05 – Call Me Rocky
Dan Skelton’s runner Book Of Secrets ought to be very competitive at this level but preference is for Irish raider CALL ME ROCKY, who ran well in a big-field handicap on his latest outing.
15:35 – Copper Fox
He has fitness to prove after a 164-day absence but COPPER FOX returned from a break with a creditable hurdle run in December and is taken to make a winning chase debut. Today’s drop back in trip might help George Bancroft but he failed to justify good market support when only fifth at Fontwell last month and longstanding maiden Lonimoss Bareliere may emerge as a bigger threat to the selection.

16:05 – Hello Sunshine
This is quite competitive for the grade but it’s still difficult to get away from HELLO SUNSHINE, who won very comfortably at Plumpton last Sunday and still looks well handicapped under a 7lb penalty. Last year’s winner Shantou Sunset defends her crown after another C&D win last month and is feared most. Maid Of The Night may still have more improvement to come, while a case can also be made for Nora The Xplorer.
16:35 – Sheldon
This looks a good opportunity for SHELDON (nap), who drops in grade after a very respectable third in 0-135 company at Kempton last month and recorded his career-best RPR at this track (albeit over a slightly shorter trip) on good ground in the autumn. Herewegohoney has been off since running poorly just after Christmas but remains unexposed over fences and is feared most. Joly Maker can also feature.
17:05 – Renoir
Haydock runner-up Parade Away is a strong contender but preference is for RENOIR, who was a promising third on last month’s debut at Bangor when denied a clear run. Get The Value returns from an absence but has the form to feature, while King Of Tara and Taghadoe are interesting newcomers.
