13:50 York – Real Dream

This looks a difficult race to call and I’m not sure that La Yakel is a worthy favourite. I’ve landed on REAL DREAM, who seems the safest option. However, it’s a bit of a tentative pick. He should be fit after a run at Kempton earlier this month and he can go well.

14:05 Newton Abbot – Inferno Sacree

Monjules and Polyphonic were first and second at Fontwell in March but I’m with INFERNO SACREE for Nigel Hawke, who bolted in at Perth in April. He’s taken a rise in the ratings and I can see him going in again.

    14:25 York – Dakota Gold

    DAKOTA GOLD has a big chance after an impressive third at Pontefract in April and Bielsa could also be of interest. I like a few of the runners who have high draws but I’ll go with Dakota Gold as I was really taken by the Pontefract run.

      15:00 York – The Astrologist

      Highfield Princess is a very good filly but her record first time out isn’t good enough. That put me off her and I’m not sold on Creative Force over the distance so I’m with THE ASTROLOGIST. The ground will be ideal and he has the gears for York. He could be too quick for Creative Force and he should be fitter than Highfield Princess.

        15:35 York – Midnight Mile

        Infinite Cosmos is tight enough so I’ve looked outside the top of the betting. He could take off but MIDNIGHT MILE has taken my eye. She did well to get up at Newmarket in October but it didn’t go to plan at Keeneland in November. She should have the stamina for this and she looks value to me.

        16:10 York – New Endeavour

        Ramazan is an interesting one but he might want further so I’m siding with NEW ENDEVOUR for Roger Varian, who has the pedigree to stay. He won on nursery debut at Kempton over 7f in September and he could be the one to catch.
