18:30 – SOMEWHAT CLOUDY 
19:00 – COOL CROI 
20:00 – THUNDER IN MILAN
20.30 – STEELY ADDITION

18:00 – BANJAXED

With Grade 2 experience under his belt, BANJAXED should appreciate the return to this level. He has to be forgiven his latest effort but this trip ought to suit and he is taken to atone. Kansas City Star also looks a serious player, having bounced back to form last time and he could also have more to come over this trip. Joker Du Chenet should be able to improve on his latest effort.

18:30 – SOMEWHAT CLOUDY 

It is not the easiest race to assess but SOMEWHAT CLOUDY has taken well to chasing and looks the way to go on the back of her solid Wetherby third last time out. Glentruan arrives in good nick over hurdles and could emerge as the chief threat on his second go over fences ahead of chasing newcomer Thistlebuffs.

19:00 – COOL CROI 

Few of these have better days ahead of them so Gordon Elliott’s low-mileage mare COOL CROI (nap) looks the way to go given she took a step forward on her recent handicap debut when sixth at Downpatrick and promises better to come now her stamina is drawn out further. Nick Alexander’s in-form pair Ultra Violet (second choice) and Arnica are weighted to have a say, while the lightly raced Ballin Bay is another who needs factoring in.

20:00 – THUNDER IN MILAN

Iain Jardine conjured improvement out of Born Famous over hurdles last time. She may be capable of similar now returning to this discipline back up in trip but she still has a fair bit to prove over fences. The suggestion is THUNDER IN MILAN, who is in good form and for whom this trip and forecast slower ground than last time suggest that he may be capable of winning again. Victory Echo and Cardboard Gangster are others to consider.

20.30 – STEELY ADDITION

This looks an excellent opportunity for STEELY ADDITION to resume winning ways after back-to-back recent point successes. Veteran Shanroe Street also arrives in good nick from the pointing sphere and is next best, ahead of Shaughnessy.

21.00 – PETITE RHAPSODY

A tough race to call and the suggestion is PETITE RHAPSODY, who should appreciate this drop in grade and goes well at this track. Sanosuke looks a likely danger but a 5lb rise will probably call for some improvement. Of the remainder, there are reasons to think that Sea Prince could also take a closer hand.
