Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
Two Summers has solid claims in her current form and others to consider are Rain Cap and Clotherholme. The suggestion is MUTANAASEQ, who is probably in better form than this season’s form figures may imply.
A maiden handicap in all but name. Some of the runners are open to improvement, most notably AZAIM who looks interesting back down in distance. Mr Jetman (second choice) and Rockonmecca are other unexposed types to consider. B Associates has had more chances than any of his rivals but he’s a leading contender on current form.
This can go to Hugo Palmer’s unexposed gelding SUPASPECIALAWESOME, who landed the odds in a C&D novice in December and is open to more progress off what looks a fair mark on his handicap debut. The main threat could come from another Tapeta winner in Animate, who looks a possible improver back at 7f on his second run after a break.
A rather tricky race with some of the runners appealing on certain counts but having something to prove in other respects. The suggestion is OUR DICKIE, who is 0-5 for his new yard but whose sole attempt at this distance resulted in his Irish win. Far From A Ruby (attractively handicapped; second choice) and Fanzone are likely players provided they stay the trip, while Cosa Sara is another for the shortlist.
