13:50 Wolverhampton – Ghostly (Daily Mail)

Tribal Commander was allowed his own way at a steady pace when second over 1m6f here early last month and third-placed GHOSTLY, who found himself with too much ground to make up that night, is taken to turn things round. King Charles is another to consider, but bookmakers’ best friend Forgetmenotblue is still to prove his stamina over this far.

14:50 Pontefract – Masque Of Anarchy (The Sun)

In a particularly tricky event, the selection is MASQUE OF ANARCHY who is back on a good mark and whose stable is going well. Benadalid and Snooze Lane are two others likely to run well.

17:10 Pontefract – Little Ted (Telegraph)

A few of these have saved their best for the AW scene and that’s especially true of Inexplicable, for whom this is only a third run on turf. LITTLE TED ran surprisingly well on ground too soft for him at Thirsk and he’s also better over this longer trip. Mr Strutter is preferred of the remainder.

17:50 Gowran Park – Star Image (Racing Post)

Not a strong Listed race, since none of the 12 boast an official rating in three figures. However, several have realistic aspirations of getting over the 100-mark. STAR IMAGE stays well and was keeping on at the finish over 1m4f at Cork. She may turn the tables on runner-up Irish Lullaby. Final Gesture is a noteworthy import from France. In common with the relatively unexposed White Caviar, she has a strong pedigree. Moon Daisy has run well in defeat against smart stayers.
