Horse Racing tips: A 9/1 NAP tops our best bets at Kempton tonight

The Racing Post tipster is sweet on Lailah in the 20:30.

18:00 – Della
18:30 – Lady Dreamer
19:00 – Satin Snake
19:30 – Haku
20:00 – Mr Fustic
20:30 – Lailah
21:00 – Fiscal Policy

18:00 – Della

Only two can be left out of calculations and it will be interesting to see how Kanohi Breeze and Holy Fire go in the market back from layoffs, likewise newcomer Elusive Angel. Penguin Island is the yardstick, having turned in a string of consistent efforts in handicaps, but DELLA can progress past her, having shown much more in the hood last time.

18:30 – Lady Dreamer

Dual silver medallist LADY DREAMER, the strongest contender on form, is taken to go one better. Eddie Temple, an interesting type, is feared most ahead of Hawajes and Deep In My Heart.

19:00 – Satin Snake

Most of these can have their case argued but SATIN SNAKE won three times over C&D during the winter and there’s a suspicion he’s still got more to offer. He is marginally preferred to Sayifyouwill, Billy Mill, Arctician and Secret Strength.

19:30 – Haku

All eight runners can have a case argued for them in a trappy event. Wonder Starelzaam moves up in class but features prominently in calculations having taken another step forward on his reappearance eight weeks ago. Bizarre Law (second choice) and Udaberri are closely matched on their latest start, while both Sir Michael Stoute’s runners have something to recommend them. HAKU didn’t get home over 2m at Lingfield last time but it is likely he’s still in top form and he is marginally preferred.

20:00 – Mr Fustic

This looks very competitive. The Spotlight Kid was on the up when last seen and market confidence behind him on his return to action would look significant. La Rav,bCalonne, Sandy Paradise and the hat-trick seeking Calin’s Lad (second choice) can all feature but MR FUSTIC might be worth chancing. Last season’s two wins came on Tapeta but he handles Polytrack perfectly well and his reappearance at Lingfield five weeks ago was more promising than the distance beaten suggests.

20:30 – Lailah

The suggestion is likely improver LAILAH (nap), who will be all the more interesting if the market speaks positively on her return from a layoff. Second choice is Cap D’antibes, who holds every chance off his current mark back down in grade. Damascus Finish and Purple Poppy, both solid contenders on recent form, complete the shortlist.

21:00 – Fiscal Policy

Agapanther won well here two weeks ago but he might face a bit more pace pressure today and there are alternatives. Dulcet Spirit could have more to offer as a sprinter but FISCAL POLICY, gelded since pulling hard at Wolverhampton in November, is given another chance to confirm the positive impression he created over C&D in the autumn.
