HABANERO STAR looks to have found an opportunity where he can dominate from the front as he’s a confirmed front runner and nothing else in this field has shown a likeness for that yet. He could get a very easy lead of things and on good ground could provide difficult to catch. A three-time course winner and has been placed seven times from 10 starts and with the benefit of a couple of runs already, he looks a nice each-way play.
EURYTHMICAL should be well suited to this test with a strong pace likely and the softer ground turning this into more of a stamina than a speed test, which is what she’s all about. A Decent effort last time out when slow away before running on, but she should come on for that fitness wise and the stable have had three winners and a second place from their last five runners so are clearly in good form.
WISPER comes here on his seasonal debut having won at Brighton in four of his five starts and placing on the other occasions so clearly produces some of his best work at Brighton. Conditions look absolutely fine and the only slight concern would be how ready he is first time up, but he won on his seasonal debut last year at this track so it shouldn’t be an issue. He looks a solid bit of value at the prices and should be hitting the frame.
MISTY DANCER was in hot form last season when rattling off a hat-trick before running with credit in a Listed race, but ultimately finding that a bit too hot. The ground will be ideal and the money that has come for her suggests that she is ready to go on her seasonal debut. Her trainer Simon Crisford said she’s in really good form at home and although this is competitive, she’s one of the more likely types in this field.
