Having recorded a fourth hurdles win when scoring on his comeback last month at Cheltenham, THE FRIDAY MAN (nap) could well take plenty of beating now on his chase debut with trip/ground to suit. Dreal Deal should have more to offer over fences and could be next best.

Given his recent improvement over hurdles, Hardy Bloke is an obvious contender off a much lower chase mark but it’s possible that YEAH MAN will be a different proposition in this sphere now that he gets better ground. The consistent Galon De Vauzelle should be thereabouts again.
16:30 – Focus Point
This may not take much winning and triple points’ scorer FOCUS POINT is taken to make a winning debut under Rules. Both Sizing Diamond and True Or False have recent hunter-chase form which gives them place claims.
17:05 – Tommies Call
Quite competitive but TOMMIES CALL is the selection after an encouraging start in a valuable sales contest at Fairyhouse. Ossies Lodge, third in a Listed bumper at Limerick, and Yeats Star, who caught the eye over hurdles on debut, are others with strong claims.
