Willie Mullins has Aione in this with Danny Mullins on board. He won at Cork in April and he’s got a great chance. Sir Bob for Robert Tyner is probably his biggest threat, with the yard in solid form this season.
Love Envoi got a brilliant ride from Jonathan Burke at Cheltenham and the only one in position to beat her was Honeysuckle. Danny Mullins takes over and Paul Townend has switched from Brandy Love to Echoes In Rain. He was running really well before he fell in the Hatton’s Grace at Fairyhouse last year, with Teahupoo going on to win. If he runs similar to before he fell, he has a great chance.
The more I look at this, I just keep getting drawn to Ramillies. He had a great run at Naas in January and while he pulled up at Cheltenham, he should be over that. He’s up against horses who could be tired or exposed.
Lossiemouth has proven herself to be the best juvenile in training this year and while Enjoy The Dream could be a threat, it’s hard to see anything but a Lossiemouth win.
The Shunter could be a big runner and An Epic Song is also in with a shout. The former impressed at Kelso last month when third in a Listed Chase and reverts to hurdles. He should ready to go again. An Epic Song finished second by a head in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham behind Langer Dan and I fancy him to go close. It’s between The Shunter and An Epic Song.
