17:10 – Klimova

Kevin Philippart De Foy has a strong hand with KLIMOVA, who has her first start for the yard, and Tulekya who wears headgear for the first time. Third on the list is Kittykarma.

17:40 – Rhythm

The Ruth Carr stable continues to tick along nicely and RHYTHM, who didn’t look all out when completing a hat-trick on her Newcastle reappearance, is taken to defy the handicapper again. Little Muddy is another who arrives on the back of a reappearance success, in her case over 5f here, and she is the second choice.

18:15 – Battaah

The Richard Hannon stable sent out subsequent Molecomb winner Armor to take this on debut in 2021 so the suggestion is BATTAAH, whose sire Blue Point’s first crop has already produced three winners. Sioux Warrior (second choice) and Novation are others who make obvious appeal before betting moves are taken into account.

18:45 – Sterling Knight

Bernardo O’Reilly produced a strong finish when beating 14 rivals at Newbury last week and he remains feasibly treated off his revised mark. Magical Spirit showed signs of a revival at Redcar and looks interesting if he can build on that. However, the vote goes to STERLING KNIGHT, who really kicked on again with wins at Haydock in his final two runs last term and is a big player if he can pick up where he left off.

19:15 – Dundory

Divine Comedy (second choice) could have a big say on her first start for this in-form stable, while Lunar Jet completing a quick double is another of the more likely outcomes. However, the return to turf and cheekpieces may well see DUNDORY take advantage of his reduced mark. Das Kapital should not be far away.

19:45 – Timewave

It’s worth sticking with the progressive TIMEWAVE (nap), who made it 2-3 in handicaps with his eased-down win at Southwell three weeks ago. Dancing Gypsy finished a close second behind the selection at Kempton in January and he’s feared most off the same mark on his return. Nobody Told Me looks a possible improver on his step up to this trip, while there are also several handicap newcomers who need a close look in the market.

20:15 – Werenotreallyhere

An open race in which the vote goes to WE’RENOTREALLYHERE, who came good with a front-running win in the mud at Catterick two weeks ago and a 3lb rise for that success looks fair. Dual Newcastle winner Trabajo Detecho could be a big factor if he can transfer his progress back to turf, while there are also some interesting handicap newcomers in the line-up including Mereside Diva and Storm Fox. Others who could be in the mix are Cinque Verde and Desert Illusion.
