13:30 – Sashenka

Fast-improving 6yo Lone Star has already collected one series final this spring and is not opposed lightly in this bid to extend her winning spree, but slight preference is for SASHENKA, who got the better of a subsequent winner at Newbury last month and could still be well treated after a 4lb rise. Dollar Bae, Grivetana and Marada are others to consider in a very competitive opener.

14:05 – La Domaniale

Le Renommee, Voice Of Calm and Fairfield Ferrata (preferred in that order) were all last-time-out winners over fences, while Tweed Skirt ought to find this easier than her latest assignment and probably still has potential. However, the suggestion is LA DOMANIALE, who made an excellent start to her chasing career in the early part of this season and ought to be back at concert pitch after last month’s reappearance run on slower-than-ideal ground.

14:40 – Deeply Superficial

Queens Rock commands the utmost respect as an unexposed mare who won so well last time out, and especially with Nico De Boinville preferring her to the yard’s two other runners. She may have to go some, however, to beat DEEPLY SUPERFICIAL whose good efforts behind those smart horses Inthepocket and You Wear It Well take the eye at this level. Ilovethenightlife may also have a say.

15:15 – Rose Of Arcadia

Joe Tizzard’s ROSE OF ARCADIA is a bit too up and down for comfort but she’s good on her day and is built to carry weight. Credo is another assured stayer, one who has compiled a solid profile in 3m+ chases. Lady Kk is unraced over quite this far but should run well if seeing out the trip.

15:50 – Pretending

A good few with chances. PRETENDING had made a solid start over hurdles before failing to give her running behind Cianciana at Musselburgh and she could be on better terms with the handicapper than some of these. Golden Glance may be the main threat soon after winning her maiden in such a decisive manner. The three Irish challengers are all entitled to a close look.

16:25 – Pink Legend (NAP)

It can pay to trust Festival form in this contest and, with no classy Irish mares to worry about this time, PINK LEGEND (NAP) can secure a sixth win over fences. The danger could be the ex-French Royale Margaux after she ran easily her best race for these connections last time at Ascot. Fortunes Melody can be suited by this drop back in distance.

17:00 – Flying Fortune

4 yearolds have held their own in this bumper and not only is FLYING FORTUNE‘s form right up there, but she is also more battle-hardened than many of her rivals. It’s tempting to jump on the Lucinda Russell bandwagon as El Elefante looked mighty promising at Musselburgh. Mellificent and Mighty Moth should also be in the thick of it.
