BUSSENTO looks like he didn’t act on the synthetic surface at Wolverhampton last time, but has received a couple of pounds leniency from the handicapper. This leaves him looking a very attractive each-way price in the opener at Newmarket. He looks like an improving juvenile towards the back end of last season and with that run under his belt 20 days ago, he can get that first victory on the board.

14:25 – Chairmanoftheboard

CHAIRMANOFTHEBOARD was returning off a lengthy absence 17 days ago at Doncaster and clearly looked in need of the reappearance effort as he was pretty sluggish throughout. That return to action will have blown away the cobwebs, and we can expect a much better display now. I expect him to turn the form around with his conqueror last time, Aleezdancer.

15:00 – Intinso

Like a lot of these in the lineup. INTINSO has some very fancy entries but made a pleasing start to his career 177 days ago at Newcastle winning with his head in his chest. He obviously comes under the ‘could be anything’ banner along with a few others, but this looks an ideal starting point for him as he continues his climb up the ladder.

15:35 – Queen Olly (each-way)

Always looked like she was going to make up into a better performer in her three-year-old season and has now switched across to the George Boughey stable who can do no wrong at present. Some of her juvenile form ties in with the very best performers of last season at Group one level and I cannot believe she’s flying under the radar at the price.
