Horse Racing tips: A 7/2 play leads the way at Kempton today

17:30 – Flower Of Dubai
18:00 – Docklands
18:30 – Icy Dip
19:00 – Oriental Spirit
19:30 – Rocking Ends (NAP)
20:00 – Gherkin
20:30 – Donald Llewellyn

17:30 – Flower Of Dubai

Those who have raced haven’t achieved much and this could go to the Crisfords’ newcomer FLOWER OF DUBAI, whose dam was useful for the same connections. Andrew Balding’s representative Grand Providence is second choice, while fellow debutantes Hedonista and Sindri aren’t ruled out, and D Day Arvalenreeva is open to improvement on her second start.

18:00 – Docklands

Lots of unknowns here but DOCKLANDS is very much the form pick and is taken to break his duck. Of the others with experience Ray Vonn looks next best but will need significant improvement to win if the selection matches his latest effort. Of the newcomers, Acclaimer could easily show up well, while Savannah Song is also of interest.

18:30 – Icy Dip

Clipsham Gold improved on previous all-weather form when scoring in March and she should be very competitive. However, ICY DIP was a decisive scorer in November and with further untapped potential, she is taken to make a successful handicap debut. Lady Wormsley can follow them home.

19:00 – Oriental Spirit

Lilkian looks set to make another bold bid, while Bethersden Boy could bounce back to form and Bill Plumb (second choice) moves into handicaps with some potential. That said, it might be worth taking a chance on the reappearing ORIENTAL SPIRIT on his first start after a wind operation. His two all-weather runs last summer, including a previous course and distance success, read much better than anything he has achieved on turf.

19:30 – Rocking Ends (NAP)

Full Prime is well suited to this track and her recent same course and distance success was backed up by the clock. She can go well despite the higher calibre of opposition, while Eminency, Magical Merlin and Prospering remain capable of better. However, ROCKING ENDS (NAP) is useful on his day and he can take advantage of this drop in class.

20:00 – Gherkin

This can go to dual course and distance winner GHERKIN who returns on a good mark and has gone well fresh in each of the last two seasons. Beauen Arrows is better than he showed when favourite for a course and distance handicap last time and he could bounce back, while Beau Jardine offered more last time and headgear could help.

20:30 – Donald Llewellyn

Several of these have plenty to prove and Gary Moore looks to have found a good opportunity for DONALD LLEWELLYN to follow up his recent course and distance success. The exposed Anisoptera is another same course and same distance scorer who is likely to be very competitive, while Reeceltic and Social City could also be in the hunt for some prize money.
