The mare EVERYLITTLESTEP was perhaps stretched by the 1m2f on heavy ground at Navan and she’s a winner waiting to happen. Asisaid and Barnhill Rose also command attention after being in the thick of it at Leopardstown.

Joseph O’Brien’s GRECIAN SLIPPER has been highly tried and brings significant potential into handicaps. Should this develop into a thorough test then Harry’s Legacy should be boxing on.

Plenty of these have questions to answer on various counts. ASTROPHYSICIST has performed okay on occasions this winter over hurdles and his ability to handle this ground ticks a big box. Rockview Roman is next best, though Cleopatra’s Needle would merit attention if getting a run.

18:15 Astar

The experience gained by Dermot Weld’s ASTAR at two included a fifth placing in a strong maiden at this venue. She is slightly preferred to Lambada, a creditable third behind a Weld-trained winner at Leopardstown on her second start. Water Nymph failed to run to expectations on her seasonal debut. Sugaree, who holds an Irish Oaks entry, may pose a bigger threat than fellow newcomers Stariam and Kermiya.

Very little to go on here. PARTISAN HERO, once-raced as a juvenile, has a good pedigree and gets a tentative vote over newcomers Youcrackmeup, Goldenstatewarrior and Carlo Bianconi. Free Flow shaped quite well on his debut at Dundalk and could go close if he handles the ground. Parish Star also hinted at promise first time out.

19:15 Most Wanted

Smart hurdler Party Central brings an element of intrigue to this maiden and she should make her presence felt. However, MOST WANTED has to be of strong interest after his third at Leopardstown in a race that’s worked out well. Esculenta had flashes of very good form for Johnny Murtagh and should also be in the mix, along with likely improver Riverina Charm.
