Kelso 14:15 – Less Legacy

Less Legacy has been super consistent of late and has a decent record around Kelso. He’s still lightly enough raced to suggest plenty more improvement is likely and a 4lb rise shouldn’t be enough to prevent another bold run. He has not finished outside the top three in his last six starts and he drops in grade today. He has every chance with four places on offer.

Kelso 14:45 – Broadway Joe

1.5 points each way

Broadway Joe might be deemed a little bit risky but I wouldn’t read too much into the effort last time out in a class 2 on heavy ground at Carlisle. He rattled off a hat-trick in 2021 on his first start back after a similar break and he’s on a similar handicap mark to today, so he looks well in. It might be a case of this time of the year is when he’s physically at his best. He drops into a class 5 now and if ready to go, he can outrun his price.

Windsor 15:45 – Lil Guff

1.5 points each way

Lil Guff has a great chance. He’s less exposed than the majority of this field and he should appreciate the softer conditions as he has a 67% strike rate on softer ground. He had a solid reappearance run this April at Kempton and he should come on for that effort. He’s dropping in grade, is well drawn and his speed figures are right at the top of this field.
