The Group 3 Alleged Stakes (3:10pm) is one of two feature races at the Curragh as last season’s Irish Derby second Piz Badile bids to get the new campaign off to a good start.

The other Group 3 contest on the card is the Lester Piggott Gladness Stakes (3:45pm) which sees Goldana maker her stable debut for Joseph O’Brien.Saint Sam should get back on the scoreboard in the Tramore Racecourse Directors Chase (4pm) and there is also Jumps action at Huntingdon and Wincanton.
