13:40 – Silent Approach

I Sea The Moon returned to form last time and she should give another good account but she’s held on that piece of form by SILENT APPROACH who should relish coming back down to this trip having failed to see out further last time.

14:15 – Potters Party

If he jumps with more fluency than he did at Limerick last month, POTTERS PARTY, could be hard to beat having shaped with plenty of promise in three of his four starts under Rules. Drying ground would help Power Hour who found his latest test too demanding and the consistent Viceregent shaped like a return to this trip might suit last time.

14:50 – Early Arrival

He’s yet to get off the mark but EARLY ARRIVAL was only narrowly denied in a stronger race than this at Gowran on his penultimate outing and it’s likely he found the run coming too soon at Down Royal just six days later. Well Loved was still involved when coming down last month and she could be the main danger if that run hasn’t left a mark. 

15:25 – Costanuci

This doesn’t looks as competitive as the first division and COSTANUCI (NAP) could be the one to take advantage. She improved plenty when only narrowly denied on handicap debut when last seen and she’s less exposed than many of her rivals. Last time out winner Mighty Jeremy is a threat but he may have preferred more rain.

Tramore-Races

16:00 – Saint Sam

A poor turnout and seemingly a golden opportunity for SAINT SAM providing he stays. His free-running tendency may need to be curbed but this is as easy a track as you could find stamina-wise. 

16:35 – Lizrona

Very competitive and a chance is taken on LIZRONA following up a recent Clonmel win under an in-form claiming rider. Brideswell Lad had the measure of Tyre Kicker when coming down at the last at Leopardstown but this stiffer stamina test could enable the latter to confirm the form. Old Soul and Priory Park are others to consider.

17:10 – Dreamsrmadeofthis

A good previous course and distance second last autumn DREAMSRMADEOFTHIS gets the vote here on the back of a decent run at Thurles where she had several of today’s rivals behind. Know The Game could prove the main danger although there some unexposed types making their handicap debuts who could be open to improvement.
