Horse Racing Tips: Rory Delargy’s got a 50/1 each-way fancy on Friday at Aintree

Rory Delargy’s Horse Racing Tips:

13:45 – Gerri Colombe
14:20 – Jason The Militant (each way)
14:55 – Found A Fifty
15:30 – Fugitif
16:05 – Fantastikas
16:40 – Maximilian
17:15 – Homme Public

13:45 – Gerri Colombe

Complete Unknown did well against lesser company at Kempton last time out but this could be too much of a step up. Gerri Colombe and Bronn look the two to focus on. The former looks a really solid bet and he almost won at Cheltenham last month. This track will suit him better as it’s not as sharp as people think. He’s a strong galloper and a sound jumper so he gets back on track with a win.

14:20 – Jason The Militant (each way)

Camprond should have won the Coral Cup and he’s gone up for that loss. He’s got the opportunity to get that back in this. If it gets very soft, I’m going to have a small play on Jason The Militant. He was out of his depth in the Champion Hurdle but it wasn’t that long ago he was showing solid form.

14:55 – Found A Fifty

I like Found A Fifty for Gordon Elliott, with Davy Russell on board. He did well to beat Parmenion at Fairyhouse and he ran well behind Corbetts Cross at Naas. He will improve for that and the fact he missed Cheltenham is a bonus.

15:30 – Fugitif

Fakir DOudairies was disappointing in the Ascot Chase but he didn’t get a great ride. He’s looked a bit scrappy this season and he’s probably lucky to have a win on the board. Pic DOrhy has been well placed by Paul Nicholls and he’s not a superstar. I’ve landed on Fugitif, who has always had plenty of ability. He’s strung a few solid attempts together and his form is decent.

16:05 – Fantastikas

Willie Mullins probably wins this but I’m not sure who with! I’ve got doubts over Haut En Couleurs and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Burrows Saint bounce back and win this. I can’t split them so I’m going to take a swing at Fantastikas at a huge price. He did well at Wincanton a couple of runs back and he’s got a great chance based on last season’s form. If he gets into an early rhythm as a front runner he could turn up.

16:40 – Maximilian

I’m going to go with something safe (I think!) and I’ve landed on Maximilian. His River Don Novices’ Hurdle form at Doncaster is solid and he didn’t go to Cheltenham as he’s been saved for this. His freshness should pay off.

17:15 – Homme Public

I really struggled to get a handle on this race and if I had to pick a runner, it’d be Homme Public at a price. Toby Wynne is his regular jockey and he’s claiming 5lbs.
