STAGE STAR was a terrific winner for us at the Cheltenham Festival and this race is shaping up to suit him more than his rivals again. The best horse based on what they’ve done so far and has the least question marks surrounding him. Banbridge looks like he would have needed faster ground and Saint Roi has only won one race in two years so is very difficult to trust. Stage Star to ping them from the front again could take some stopping.
14:55 – Aintree – Ahoy Senor

Cracking race here even with Bravemansgame not running now but I’m still pretty sweet on AHOY SENOR. Difficult to know what would’ve happened in the Gold Cup if he stayed upright but he was definitely in with a very good chance that day.
Should get an easy lead of things today and put the pressure on these rivals from the front, showed a liking for Aintree last year and it would be no surprise to see him go and win this today.
16:40 – Aintree – Third Time Lucki
1.5 points each-way
THIRD TIME LUCKI was third in this last year from higher in the weights and is showing no signs of the form dipping. Looks a solid each-way play with that in mind and should be there or thereabouts again. Might want a stronger pace than predicted here but still looks as strong a selection as you’ll find here today.
