The Fairyhouse bonanza is underway and I am going to pinpoint a few selections for Sunday’s card.

13:25 – Ideal Du Tabert

I Am Fortunata is a tricky customer as he showed when running off the track at Punchestown. He is talented but bled last time out. For that reason, I am going for Ideal Du Tabert, who ran well in a decent contest at Leopardstown. This looks a good opportunity.

14:00 – Sheishybrid

Sheishybrid has some very good flat form to her name. She won at Ballinrobe last year and also in a nice race at Down Royal. This is her first run for some time, though her trainer Noel Meade is a dab hand at getting them fit and she has to be a player off a handicap mark of 116.

14:35 – Princess Zoe

I didn’t enjoy Princess Zoe‘s run of the race at Cheltenham but she is a major player over a slightly longer trip.

15:10 – Nick Rockett

I watched Nick Rockett win at Naas and he beat a smart horse in Lets Go Champ, who is trained by Henry De Bromhead. I loved the way he did it that day and I’m going to take a punt on him improving.

15:45 – Nucky Johnson

The Noel Meade-trained son of Vadamos Nucky Johnson won very nicely at Naas. His previous win at Punchestown was beating The Big Doyen, which is good form, but he lost the race in the steward’s room afterwards. He was also in front of Hunters Yarn that day. He is a young horse and has the scope to be getting better.

16:20 – Dinoblue

Dinoblue was second at Cheltenham in the Grand Annual. This looks the perfect fit today and even with top weight, she has to be respected.

16:55 – Mighty Potter

Mighty Potter has not delivered in the UK what he has in the runs in Ireland. He is different class over there and he will be very hard to beat.

17:30 – Dee Capo

Dee Capo cost €230,000 at the sales last June and they will be hoping that this son of Maxios can deliver the goods. He hails from the family of Vauban and Masked Marvel. Jamie Codd and Gordon Elliott are a great combo too.
