So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:30 Nottingham – Fair Wind (The Sun)

Popular Dream (second best) is favoured most among those with experience but the pedigree of FAIR WIND offers plenty of sprint-distance encouragement and he can take this for a yard which can ready one first time out. Bright and especially Victors Dream are other first-timers with something to recommend them on paper.

14:30 Leopardstown – Duke Cador (The Times)

Three from Ballydoyle and Moore is on the newcomer The Black Tiger which is obviously significant but DUKE CADOR ran well on soft ground at Gowran in a race that is working out quite well and gets the nod. The Prairie is another Aidan O’Brien-trained runner who showed promise at two and can’t be ruled out while Harsh also showed plenty of promise on easy ground last year. 

15:00 Wolverhampton – Harlem Nights (Racing Post)

This will take a bit of winning but HARLEM NIGHTS did well to finish third in his final nursery start and, now gelded, he appeals as the type to progress further as a 3yo. Ghassan could be another improver and so too C&D winner Totnes, but the consistent Seagrove Fox may prove the biggest danger.

16:50 – Majestic Colt (Daily Mail)

Plenty with chances here among horses with a liking for this surface. Superior Force ran a cracker at the Curragh and makes obvious appeal, as does top-weight Loingseoir after a good run here on Sunday. Handicap debutant Cavallo Pazzo and the back to form Hightimeyouwon also make plenty of appeal. A potential long shot that appeals though is MAJESTIC COLT from a stable bang in form. He is down to a very nice mark and likes cut in the ground.
