13:40 – Shiroccos Dream
Emmpressive Lady (second choice) returned to form with a good win at Bangor recently and Wouldubewell has dropped to a very dangerous mark but the former has become very inconsistent and the latter needs to prove her wellbeing. SHIROCCOS DREAM can gain a tactical advantage if allowed an uncontested lead and might be the answer.
14:15 – Oscars Moonshine

14:50 – Hard Frost
Ithaka was driven out to land a gamble over hurdles here nine days ago and now makes his chasing debut from the same mark. He could be tough to beat if his jumps well but HARD FROST shaped very much as though today’s move back up in trip will suit when going close on his recent chasing debut, and his experience over fences earns him the vote. Broadoak seems to be heading in the right direction and can also feature.
15:25 – Boom Boom
It’s unlikely we’ve seen the best of BOOM BOOM, who has make a somewhat shaky start to his hurdling career but displayed clear promise before falling at Chepstow in February and was placed in two bumpers last season. Dylan’s Double and Gieves (preferred in that order) may fight out the minor honours.

16:00 – Gallopade
A few of these have potential but the one with least to prove is GALLOPADE, who was only collared in the closing stages by the warm favourite after running a big race at Ludlow a fortnight ago. Bumper winner Diamond Egg still has plenty of time to get his hurdling career off the ground and is feared most, ahead of Royal Max.[
16:35 – Puffin Bay (NAP)
It would be foolish to write off three-time novice winner Lady Adare after her disappointing seasonal/handicap debut but Harry Derham has made an impressive start to his training career and previous course and distance winner PUFFIN BAY (NAP) may provide him with another success story. Another C&D winner, Petticoat Lucy, is respected, while Somespring Special won in good style at Fontwell yesterday and has strong claims if turning out swiftly under a penalty.
17:05 – Triple Trade
Lazy Sunday has been in superb form in recent weeks and is not opposed lightly as she bids to complete a four-timer but, nevertheless, there are some interesting alternatives in this competitive race. Top of the list is TRIPLE TRADE, who ran very well in defeat on consecutive outings in February and looked set to be involved in the finish before coming to grief at Kempton last month. Last-time-out winners Mongol Emperor and Dreaming Blue also feature prominently in calculations, while the veteran Native Robin has an excellent record over C&D and recently signalled a return to form.
