15:30 – Fontwell – Red Windsor – Liverpool Echo

RED WINDSOR won here (2m3f, good) on hurdling debut in the autumn and bettered that performance when second to progressive stablemate over same course and distance (good; again jumped right) in February; could easily have more to offer in handicaps.

15:45 – Thirsk – Brunello Breeze – The Irish Field

BRUNELLO BREEZE has blown hot and cold in a handful of handicaps last year but he did go close over 7f on reappearance at Haydock in May (good to soft) and has a weights chance off 5lb lower back from a break which will certainly help here. 

18:30 – Southwell – Dear Daphne – Sunday Telegraph

Improved in each of her three runs on turf last year, culminating with a neck defeat in a 15-runner Leicester novice (6f, heavy) in October; DEAR DAPHNE makes her handicap debut after 162 days off but is a half-sister to a Tapeta winner; must be respected.

20:30 – Southwell – Rumnoted – On The Nose

Showed promise in 7f novice events, including over same course and distance, but out of luck with the draw in two 1m handicaps since; RUMNOTED should be capable of better back at 7f off what looks a fair mark and is one of the better ones.

15:30 – Fontwell – Red Windsor
15:45 – Thirsk – Brunello Breeze
18:30 – Southwell – Dear Daphne
20:30 – Southwell – Rumnoted
