15:00 – Ludlow – Dibble Decker – Daily Record
DIBBLE DECKER is 2-2 since being fitted with cheekpieces this year, with both wins gained over 2m4f at Huntingdon (good to soft/good); moves up in grade today but could quite plausibly have untapped potential over 3m; major player.
15:15 – Lingfield – Kamanika – On The Nose
Most recently ninth of 13 at Newmarket in October; still early days and now goes back up in trip on her handicap debut, KAMANIKA has shown glimpses of speed and could do well against this field.
16:00 – Ludlow – Hidor De Bersy – Racing Post
Good second on seasonal/chase debut in November but both subsequent runs over fences were very disappointing and HIDOR DE BERSY now reverts to hurdling; given a good chance by the handicapper in this sphere and could run well here.
19:30 – Newcastle – As If By Chance – Daily Mirror
There were traffic issues for AS IF BY CHANCE, Mighty Power and Ron O in a similar event over course and distance ten days ago, and they can all be marked up. Third-placed As If By Chance did best and he could well open his AW account provided this race goes perfectly. How Impressive, who is comparatively unexposed, completes the shortlist.
