Potentially an informative maiden. BOLD AS LOVE was outpaced by the smart Tarawa on debut here over 7f last term but will be more at home over this trip and can go one better. Warm Heart can improve from her AW effort last winter on this surface, as can the race-fit Curvature. Persian Jewel and Tender Kiss are fascinating debutants.
14:35 – Hans Andersen
Only two of these have Pattern race experience and only one of the others appears capable of making the transition at this stage. Despite an indifferent display in the National Stakes, the Futurity Stakes runner-up HANS ANDERSEN may prove superior to the Killavullan Stakes third Bold Discovery in what looks like a match. Carracci can follow the pair home.
15:10 – Never Ending Story
This looks open, but NEVER ENDING STORY showed enough in two Group 1 appearances to suggest she can add to a C&D Group 3 success in the Silver Flash last July, when she had La Dolce Vita and Zarinsk behind. Matilda Picotte had good form over 6f at two and could feature along with potentially progressive maiden winner Impact Warrior.
15:45 – Alexandroupolis
A 12th win in this race beckons for Aidan O’Brien. Ryan Moore’s mount ALEXANDROUPOLIS (nap) looked smart when winning a Galway maiden on soft ground and can boost his Derby claims. Alder, whose trainer ended Ballydoyle’s four-year winning sequence in this event 12 months ago, rates the main danger on form involving the Derby favourite Auguste Rodin. He has an edge over Serious Challenge who blotted his record at Naas last Sunday.

16:20 – Pulse Light
Loads of these have squeaks but a chance is taken on PULSE LIGHT for the in-form Noel Meade yard, despite his wide draw. He can improve for this trip and will relish the ground. Starry Eyed is an obvious danger, while Autocrat, Teutates, Aurifodina and Valiant King hold solid credentials.
16:55 – Comfort Line
Having run a stormer in the Irish Lincoln a week ago, COMFORT LINE is taking a drop in class here and can claim this. Cheers Again has rocketed up the handicap but can’t be ignored, while last year’s rapid improver Dunum has to be respected.
17:30 – Khattaat
Having faced an impossible task against the now 92-rated Chazzesmee when beaten 5l by him at Dundalk last time, KHATTAAT won’t have a rival of that calibre to beat and can score. Lauroline looks fairly treated on handicap debut and can run well, while Purple Gown is 6lb higher than when second last week but is still a player.
