16:10 – Free Flowing

A fine recent comeback run at Thurles when a 50-1 shot puts FREE FLOWING to the forefront here, although he faces a much sterner stamina test. Most likely dangers are Ik’s Man and the sole bumper winner in the field Demandrivingdouvan.

16:40 – Music Of Tara

Back in maiden company this looks a good opportunity for MUSIC OF TARA providing she avoids serious error. Both Emily Roebling and Desert Heather are rock-solid mares and look next best.

17:10 – Hardy Bloke

This is a big drop in class for HARDY BLOKE (nap) and a reproduction of either of his last two runs should suffice. Pure Sirloin may be next best.

17:40 – Baldurs Gate

Rachael Blackmore got a good tune out of ALDUR’S GATE when he was second at Thurles and the lightly-raced bottom weight can go one place better. Mylestown Upper made a winning chase debut last time and is also open to progress while Brideswell Lad goes well here but the ground may not be in his favour.

18:10 – Revelyn Pleasure

Hard to definitively draw a line through any of these although the two class acts at the top of the handicap look opposable. Maybe R’EVELYN PLEASURE, tried for the first time in blinkers, can repeat last year’s success off the same mark. Cusp Of Carabelli showed up well over hurdles last time and is feared despite being out of the handicap.

18:40 – Aodhan May

A chaotic start here early in the month effectively ended the race for AODHAN MAY, but her earlier Down Royal second suggested she could come into her own over this longer trip. She gets the vote ahead of Fox Le Bel, Finnians Row and Four Country Roads.

19:10 – Birdie Blitz

The more competitive division. Made In The Woods, Trickey Trix and Mahler Appeal all come here in good form and with legitimate claims but top-weight BIRDIE BLITZ could prove thrown in here off a mark 16lb lower than she attained over hurdles with an easy Punchestown win last time.
