16:40 – Music of Tara

The extended 2-mile 4-furlong Mares’ Maiden Hurdle sees a host of exposed runners do battle including MUSIC OF TARA who can hopefully provide Henry de Bromhead and Robcour with the first of a few winners.

The daughter of Kayf Tara has plenty of experience and is officially the best horse here (rated 115) following good recent efforts when placed in handicap company at both Leopardstown and Navan in recent months.

The drop back into maiden company against her own sex looks a smart move and she probably won’t get a better opportunity to break her maiden with Emily Roebling and Roccos Inspiration her biggest dangers.

17:10 – Hardy Bloke

HARDY BLOKE can break his maiden in this 3-mile Rated Novice Hurdle having shown enough form this season on both sides of the Irish sea for trainer Emmet Mullins.

The son of Rail Link returns here having finished fourth off a British rating of 121 when a leading contender for a Pertemps qualifier at Haydock back in February.

His official Irish rating has been increased slightly to 114 following his third-place effort to Perceval Legallois off 113 at Leopardstown’s Dublin Racing Festival. He likes to race forward and will hopefully find plenty at the business end to score under Conor Clarke.
