14:45 Lingfield – One More Dream (Postdata)
ONE MORE DREAM has been progressive since undergoing wind surgery, winning four this winter and going 21lb up the weights. Has done it on Polytrack but has a particularly good record at Newcastle and he’ll need a bit more again.
15:45 Market Rasen – Halondo (Sunday Express)
HALONDO placed in three novices and stormed home on this month’s handicap debut here (2m4f). 10lb higher but manner of that win suggested he could well defy the rise and this trip is unlikely to prove a problem.
16:53 Market Rasen – Katate Dori (RP Ratings)
KATATE DORI was a fair fourth on his Cheltenham debut last November and only worn down near the finish when second at Warwick the following month. Absent since but sets the standard on form on those efforts.
19:30 Kempton – Mount Athos (The Punt)
MOUNT ATHOS is an improving colt who made a mockery of his opening mark in C&D handicap in October (back from break) when last seen, making all for a 5l success in powerful style. The runner-up has boosted the form by scoring twice since. Could prove Listed/Group class in due course and gives the impression he’ll cope with a 12lb rise in his mark. Strongly respected.
