KILDRUM is a solid Hexham performer (course form figures 25P131). Was lightly weighted when scoring by 25l (beat Gipsy Lee Rose) in blustery conditions over C&D latest. Has been hit with an 11lb rise but, given that he has run well off this mark previously, commands plenty of respect.

15:00 Huntingdon – Gieves (The Punt)

GIEVES was unable to sustain front-running effort in second bumper but was held up on hurdle debut at Ludlow 22 days ago, where he was novicey but was getting into contention when unseating three out. Capable of better.

17:00 Wolverhampton – Man Made Of Smoke (Postdata)

Pretty exposed 19-race maiden. MAN MADE OF SMOKE has shown that he handles this course (four second-place finishes) but was fairly laboured latest and is always likely to be vulnerable in a finish given such a positive run style.

20:00 Wolverhampton – Billian (Sunday Express)

BILLIAN has just one win to his name from 29 starts but he has finished second on his last three runs, beaten a nose at Southwell in this grade four weeks ago. Kevin Stott replaces a 7lb claimer today and he’s more appealing than many.
