Aikenbreakinheart has looked a new horse since switching to fences. He recorded a second place at Lingfield and then won on his last start at Wincanton. He’s an eight-year-old but he’s very lightly raced so he is open to plenty of improvement. He was only put up 2lbs for his last win so he’s now on a mark of 83, however, he has been rated 100 as a hurdler so he looks very competitive at the weights.

Tenfold is worth taking on. Estacas has some good form including a soft ground bumper at Ascot and although he hasn’t really followed up as expected, there are signs that he’s a winner in waiting. He seems to be taking a step forward with each effort and that was backed up with a second last time out – and that looks a nice bit of form. The slower surface should be right up his street and he can continue to progress for the Bridgwater team.

Hexham 15:15

Tipman Selection – Bingoo
3 points win

Bingoo looks the one to beat. He’s been very consistent and he hasn’t finished outside the top three on his last six starts. He has already recorded two wins at Hexham so he clearly likes it. His handicap mark looks very fair and the trainer jockey combo of Charlotte Jones and James Moffatt have a good record at Hexham. This is a trappy little race but he could be difficult to beat.

Wolverhampton 18:00

Tipman Selection – Starfighter
1.5 points each way

This is a competitive race but there is a lot to like about Starfighter‘s chances. He was a course and distance winner back in December off a mark of 66 and he is only on a mark of 63 now, so this is well within his scope. Oisin Murphy claims the ride in an interesting jockey booking too.
