TOO FRIENDLY tackles his longest trip to date and could do with settling better, but this consistent sort has kept on well over an extended 2m3f the last twice (good/good to soft) and should at least place here.

14:50 – Newcastle – Lebowski – East Anglican Daily Times

LEBOWSKI returned with stylish victory in 2m Wetherby handicap in December but has spoiled his chance at Musselburgh and Kelso since by pulling much too hard; hood is fitted now and he’s handily weighted if it helps him settle, one to consider at the current price.

15:05 – Thurles – Ishan – Yorkshire Evening Post

ISHAN landed a gamble when staying on strongly to win a 3m handicap hurdle at Punchestown in January; third off this mark last time at Clonmel on more recent hurdles start; sure to be well prepared for his chasing debut.

16:20 – Fontwell – Rose Of Arcadia – The Scotsman

This looks a good opportunity for easy course and distance winner ROSE OF ARCADIA to return to winning form back in a handicap. Testing ground would be no problem for her, but may be for the hat-trick-seeking Love Actually who otherwise looks the best alternative on form.
