15:15 – In This World
15:50 – Homme DUn Soir

13:30 – Greenrock Abbey
GREENROCK ABBEY has taken well to chasing this season, winning two of his four starts over fences. He was an emphatic winner of a novice handicap at Hereford in January when fitted with first-time cheekpieces and he ran to a similar level when runner-up to a progressive rival off a 10 lb higher mark at Uttoxeter last month. He still looks fairly treated after edging up 2 lb for his latest effort and should go close if running to a similar level here.
14:05 – Bo Zenith
This looks like a good opportunity for BO ZENITH, who beat leading Triumph Hurdle candidate Blood Destiny on his only outing in France and landed the Victor Ludorum Juvenile Hurdle at Haydock last month on his second start for Gary Moore. Bo Zenith had folded tamely when a beaten odds-on favourite on his first British outing at Sandown, but he left that form well behind at Haydock, finding plenty to prevail. He sets the standard on form and should be difficult to beat.
14:40 – Icaque De Lisle
ICAQUE DE LISLE, a winner over fences in France, failed to meet expectations on his British debut at Ffos Las, failing to see things out having been upped in trip to three miles and raced without his usual tongue tie. However, he got back on track when runner-up over two and a half miles at Huntingdon on his next start and then ran his best race yet on British soil when a closer third at Hereford last time. He appeals as being on a fair mark and could still have more to offer for this yard so looks the one to side with, for all this slightly longer trip is an unknown.
15:15 – In This World
IN THIS WORLD, a winner of his only start on the Flat in France when beating Fil Dor, looked an exciting prospect when making a successful start over hurdles for Dan Skelton at Warwick last season, impressing with how readily he quickened clear in that juvenile event. In This World hasn’t been seen since that six-length success in November 2021 but he retains plenty of potential and an opening handicap mark of 131 may not prove beyond this completely unexposed sort.

15:40 – Homme DUn Soir
HOMME DUN SOIR was a remote third in a point in January on his first start for these connections, but he may have needed the run on what was his first completed start since winning a beginners’ chase for Stuart Crawford at Roscommon in August. He is the pick of these on his Irish form and looks worth siding with.
16:25 – Tregele
TREGELE offered plenty to work with when fifth on debut at Southwell in January, shaping better than that result would suggest. Tregele, a son of Mahler out of smart chaser Emily Gray, travelled as well as any at Southwell and led entering the straight, but he was headed two furlongs out and weakened gradually. He’s entitled to be fitter and sharper for that experience and ought to build on that promising effort.
