Warwick betting tips:
TELHIMLISTEN justified short odds with an effortless victory at Southwell on Monday, making all to win unchallenged by 20 lengths. This will be a quicker-than-ideal turnaround, but it goes without saying that he is potentially very well treated under a 7 lb penalty if arriving in the same sort of form under Luca Morgan, who is riding well at the moment (five winners from his last 17 rides).
DANCILA looked a useful prospect when making a successful hurdling debut at Musselburgh last month, hitting the front before the last and quickly forging clear from there to land the spoils by four and three-quarter lengths with plenty in hand. That appeals as strong form – his three rivals were all previous winners over hurdles – and Dancila is fancied to improve again here to defy a penalty on his way to bigger and better things.
LA DOMANIALE took well to chasing during the summer and typically showed a good attitude when last seen winning at Stratford in August, finding plenty late on to win by a length and a quarter. That form comfortably sets the standard now back in novice company against her own sex and there should be more to come from her after just five starts over fences. She might need the run a bit after seven months off but should be able to make her class tell.
ENJOY YOUR LIFE was capable of fairly useful form when trained by Yannick Fouin in France, winning races over both hurdles and fences. He was last seen running over hurdles at Compiegne in May 2022 and since then he’s joined the Venetia William yard. The market is likely to provide the best guide as to what is expected of him on his British debut, but the strength of his form in France suggests he could be ahead of the handicapper from a BHA mark of 112.

VOLCANO has won the last two renewals of this race and the way he’s been shaping recently suggests he’s coming to the boil just in time for his hat-trick bid. He was beaten less than three lengths when finishing third on his latest outing at Ludlow, likely to have finished closer still but for a sloppy round of jumping. He can line up from the same mark today and seems sure to go close now back up in trip at a track which clearly plays to his strengths.
JATILUWIH hasn’t been the easiest horse to train over the last couple of years, but he’s shaped as if retaining all his ability this winter since returning from 11 months off. He certainly ran a solid race when beaten five lengths into fourth at Newbury last time, keeping on well under the circumstances having taken a strong hold early on. He is now 3 lb below his last winning mark and could be worth a chance to capitalise on the drop in grade with a 10-lb claimer taking over in the saddle.
SALT ROCK was bought for £205,000 after winning his sole outing in points and since then he’s joined Kim Bailey, who has an excellent record with bumper debutants since the start of the 2018/19 season (£13.62 profit to a £1 level stake). Dual bumper winner Sole Solution sets a useful standard here, but Salt Rock receives 10 lb from that rival and is very much one to be positive about on his first start under Rules.
