1:50 Sandown – Churchills Boy [Each-Way]
2:25 Sandown – Soaring Glory [Each-Way]
3:00 Sandown – Casa No Mento
3:35 Sandown – No Risk Des Flos

1:50 Sandown – Churchills Boy [Each-Way]

This horse won a heavy ground Chepstow bumper in February last year, but bombed out at Lingfield on hurdle debut in November. His run at Fontwell in January was really good on ground that was plenty quick enough for him. At the prices, Churchills Boy is a very good each-way bet as he is a good jumper and will not struggle with the track.

2:25 Sandown – Soaring Glory [Each-Way]

Soaring Glory has dropped down to a mark that will definitely play to his strengths – he loves a fast-run race with lots of runners. Remember, he won at 14-runner handicap at Ascot off the same mark as he’ll has now. He is also a former Betfair Hurdle winner from a couple of years ago. The key to him is big fields, exactly what he has here.

Playful Saint is a worthy favourite and will handle the conditions. The other one with a strong chance is Zoffany Bay. Peter Fahey nearly pulled off a huge training performance when this lad was a good second at Ascot. He handles soft ground as he was a multiple winner in France.

3:00 Sandown – Casa No Mento

I was really taken with Nigel Twiston-Davies’ filly Casa No Mento at Hereford. She is proven on the ground and finished that race off really strongly. Larchmont Lass is definitely a player though, especially if the hood works. She got messed around when second to Goodtimecrew at Wincanton last time out.

3:35 Sandown – No Risk Des Flos

Market leader Easy As That. he’s rocketed up the ratings. This will be much harder, though, and there is value to be had with No Risk Des Flos. Olly Murphy’s charge was a good winner at Wetherby back in January. I think this race will suit.
