WILL STRING regained the winning thread at Doncaster (2m3f, good; second chase attempt) last time, adding to his bumper/hurdle successes; still unexposed over fences; one for the shortlist.
16:00 – Wexford – Where It All Began (888 Sport)
Given the benefit of a recent run over fences, WHERE IT ALL BEGAN gets the vote here, ahead of chasing debutant Barbary Master. Robinstown has every chance on hurdles form but has to bounce back from an underwhelming recent chasing debut.
16:55 – Leopardstown – Mars Harper (Norwich Evening News)
Some good efforts in beginners company, including when chasing home Mighty Potter at Down Royal; not disgraced in the Leopardstown Chase, MARS HARPER has placed in four of his last five for Gordon Elliott and could run well again here.
17:05 – Ffos Las – Iconic Rock (The Irish Field)
Well beaten in 2m Uttoxeter maiden on seasonal/stable debut in January but was in contention for a place before last-flight fall over C&D (soft) just over a year ago and remains unexposed after only three hurdle starts; ICONIC ROCK is well worth a glance in the betting before today’s handicap debut.
