Lightly raced ten-year-old Pont Aval has to be taken seriously now that she has two chase runs under her belt after a long absence. However, preference is for MY DESIGN who has been running in Graded races over hurdles. She has been error-prone but may treat fences with more respect. Butterflyvespiere is of some interest despite having been off for a long time.
14:40 – Made In The Woods
A very competitive contest and plenty with chances. Sanibel Island has been in terrific form and has good prospects of turning Navan tables with Four Country Roads. Thurles winner O Mio Babbino is certainly respected, and it is very hard to know what to expect from Full Noise. This could be the day though for the progressive MADE IN THE WOODS to get his head in front after three runner-up spots.
15:15 – Soldaro
About as weak a maiden hurdle as could be imagined. SOLDARO ran well on his hurdles debut at Fairyhouse and this represents a penalty kick by comparison. Tipp For Mac is the main danger.
15:50 – Shean Glory
A 5lb rise may not prevent SHEAN GLORY from adding to her recent C&D win, though she could be tested by Little Token who was staying on when falling at the last then and now bids for a repeat of her win in this race last season. Rovetta shaped quite well on her second run after a long layoff and is potentially well handicapped on her old form for Jessica Harrington. Light Parade is generally dependable and could feature.

16:25 – Trust Me Nate
Few of these make much appeal and TRUST ME NATE has a good opportunity to step up a place following a Limerick second. Ik’s Man should not be far away if jumping better than at Gowran. The long-absent Starman is interesting having run well on his only start for Willie Mullins, whose runner here Figaroc seems vulnerable. Dundalk winner Je T’Ai Porte may need better ground.
16:55 – Atlantian
Very much the weaker of the two divisions. Cases can be made for Holiday In Kerry with a clear round and Tangental if he stays, but this looks well within the compass of ATLANTIAN if he can reproduce his run at Navan last month.
17:25 – Ishan
The stronger of the two divisions. Spancil Hlll should be very competitive off an 11lb lower hurdles mark. Killinure Lass came back to form at Punchestown last time, but her conqueror that day ISHAN (nap) looked progressive when landing a gamble that day and a 9lb rise might not be enough to stop him.
