Gavin Cromwell’s PORT AUDEMER may defy the 16lb rise imposed for his vastly improved display at Limerick. The form has been well franked by the placed horses. By Your Side has been competitive on both handicap starts, but could not be guaranteed to reverse maiden form with either Libby or Thetys.
14:40 – Percy Warner
It looks as if PERCY WARNER can rebuild his career after being off for a long time. He put in a sound effort on his handicap debut at this venue and may now have the measure of Barnacullia who ran a fine race behind the excellent Final Orders at Leopardstown. Limerick Lace has plenty of weight but could not be safely ruled out.
15:10 – Coeur Sublime
A disappointing turnout for this Grade 3. Rebel Gold is well worth a go at this level after his exploits in high class handicaps, but despite his truncated campaign this season, it would be a surprise if COEUR SUBLIME was not good enough to land this.
15:40 – Found A Fifty
Quite an interesting contest. Corbetts Cross might well be the best horse in the race but has to be vulnerable over this trip on better ground. Lily Du Berlais is very interesting on her hurdles debut, as is the very unexposed Jackpot De Choisel. The selection though is FOUND A FIFTY who impressed on his maiden hurdle success at Fairyhouse and should have a bit more improvement in him.

16:10 – Innatendue
Bumper form makes Thecompanysergeant potentially interesting. However, the jumping experience of the 120-rated mare INATTENDUE, Grade 2-placed as a juvenile last season, may prove crucial to the outcome. The Mediator, Bialystok, Classic Lord and Sign From Above all make some appeal.
16:40 – Hey Johnny
Plenty of these with bits and pieces of chances. Neveradullmoment is one of the likelier ones if he can come forward from his narrow C&D defeat last month. Preference is for HEY JOHNNY (nap), progressive most of the season and unlucky in running in the Liffey Hurdle last.
17:10 – Ile Atlantique
Four previous winners taking each other on here. Stellar Story might edge out Caldwell Potter as the best of the Elliott duo. The most likely winner though is ILE ATLANTIQUE who should improve for a workmanlike victory at Leopardstown in December.
