Lingfield Betting Tips:
Top of the list is UNCLE BERT, who has shown progressive form over hurdles and sets the standard on his clear second at Ffos Las last time. Hourvari was a promising third behind a hotpot here last month and he’s feared most on this step up in trip, although Wetherby runner-up Big Ambitions also looks interesting on his switch to a stiffer stamina test. Others who could have a big part to play are Joe Dadancer and Nicky Henderson’s hurdling debutant Morning Line.
A few of these are open to improvement, not least the topweight FAME AND CONCRETE who looked to need a stiffer test of stamina when plugging on behind a promising rival over 2m4f at Newcastle on his final qualifying run. Getupearly is closely matched with the selection on their Worcester form in October and looks the main danger ahead of Hurricane Vichi, although Via Dante could upend his earlier form now switched to handicap company.
This looks a tight contest. Lazy Sunday got off the mark with a brave win at Exeter and she’s respected back up in trip. Lincoln Lyn ran well in her bid for a double at Wetherby last time and she should have more to offer, while the chase newcomer Briery Express also enters the reckoning. However, the vote goes to UNIVERSAL BROOK, who returned from an absence with a close second on her chase debut at Ffos Las and is a big player if she can back that up.
Gary Moore has already done well with PARIKARMA and he looks to have found another suitable race for his mare following her recent Taunton win. She can have too much speed for Walk Of No Shame, who was said to have suffered heat stress on her hurdle debut but looked all about stamina when winning her bumper. A bigger danger could be hurdle debutante Internet Biddy who stepped up on her bumper debut when travelling well for a long way behind one with potential at Hereford recently.

15:35 – Gabriels Getaway (NAP)
This can go to GABRIELS GETAWAY (NAP), who hit a clear personal best with an easy win on his handicap/chase debut at Taunton and has plenty of scope for further progress in this sphere. Second choice is Hector Jaguen, who kicked off his chase career with a creditable third at Plumpton and is 2lb lower here. David Pipe’s in-form veteran Dindin has each-way claims, while others who could be in the mix are Tamaris and Madiba Passion.
This looks tricky and the market should be informative. Often Overlooked and Playtogetaway are possible improvers on their switch to handicapping but the vote goes to another unexposed hurdler in ENTHUSED. This useful triple Flat winner was a promising second in a Fakenham maiden and he could take another major step forward on his handicap hurdle debut. Tommy Dillion was an emphatic winner over C&D in December but he was well held off his revised mark at Plumpton last month and needs to resume his progress back at this track.
Preference is for TWILIGHT GLORY, who chased home a major improver in a Ffos Las handicap last month and is an interesting contender off an unchanged mark. The main threat could come from another unexposed chaser in Supasunrise, who was a good third in his bid for a double last time and is open to more progress at this new trip. Counteract has possibilities if he can take another step back in the right direction, while Methodtothemagic is also considered.
