Bumper winner YOU WEAR IT WELL has form figures of 112 over hurdles, making all at Worcester (2m, good; won by 7l) and Hexham (2m, soft; won by 22l) then clear second, having switched to hold-up tactics, behind Ballymore favourite Hermes Allen in the Challow at Newbury (2m4f, soft. Had subsequent winners behind). Top rated in this field and is an improving mare who commands major respect.

16:30 Newcastle – Ivetwiggedit (The Brigadier)

IVETWIGGEDIT made winning handicap/stable debut at Doncaster a week ago, on her return from a year off. Picked up in great style from off the pace there and no penalty for the success. Could ‘bounce’ but hard to beat otherwise.

18:30 Chelmsford – Got No Dollars (Postdata)

GOT NO DOLLARS’ last win was 12 months ago but that was off 1lb higher at this track (6f) and he’s finished close up over this trip (Tapeta/Polytrack) in his last two starts. Represents in-form yard and he shouldn’t be far away.

19:00 Chelmsford – Closeness (Rory Delargy)

CLOSENESS is a maiden who has posted two encouraging classified efforts for new yard this year, finishing third over C&D then going close at Kempton (1m). Appears to have a race of this nature in her. Turn looks near.
