15:00 Huntingdon – Ginny’s Destiny (Andrew Bladen)
GINNY’S DESTINY posted a smart RPR of 136 when coming well clear in a 2m5f Warwick novice and went higher again when runner-up a Grade 2 back there a month ago. Remains to be seen whether he needs soft ground to be at his best but he commands considerable respect.
15:15 Thurles – Spanish Harlem (Lee Sobot)
SPANISH HARLEM is an expensive purchase from France. Respectable debut in a Gowran maiden hurdle in November but no match for the useful Three Card Brag at Fairyhouse. Holds entries in the Ballymore and the Albert Bartlett but would need to win this well to justify that.
16:10 Huntingdon – Hydroplane (Postdata)
HYDROPLANE is a four-time hurdle winner having his first run over jumps since down the field in last season’s Imperial Cup. Won off this mark two months earlier and he comes here after a pleasing run on the AW after 166 days off. Could well have a part to play.
16:18 Ffos Las – Bombay Sapphire (Expert Eye)
BOMBAY SAPPHIRE is an Irish bumper winner who made pretty good start to hurdling career when third of 17 at Lingfield in December, form that has worked out well in recent days. Open to improvement over today’s longer trip and can’t be ignored.
