The shortlist is headed by the interesting handicap debutants LEADING FORCE and Quick Sharpener, who both look open to further progress. The selection ran creditably behind a well-regarded sort last time, while the second choice is unexposed at this sort of trip. Lively Citizen (third choice) is interesting off a handy mark dropped in grade.

Last-time-out winners Bullets Hill (second choice) and Judicial Review warrant respect, while Old Gregorian should improve on his debut effort. Bertie’s Ballet, though absent since last March, is also hard to dismiss.
