Buxted Too is the only runner on the card for his excellent handler Ian Williams and he can make the long journey pay off. His only other run around this venue was a messy contest where he had to make his own running, but he was right back to his best form with a hold up performance at Kempton last time.
Mint Edition made no mistake last time when attracting plenty of support in the market. It was also his first try up in distance. He was a little keen in the early stages but he got better as it went on. He’s got the extra 5lbs penalty but that shouldn’t slow him down too much.
Knockmore Prince caught the eye after a slow start at Roscommon on his racecourse debut and then made rapid headway around the outside to get into contention before getting tired. He was gelded afterwards and ran in two hot races over a trip too sharp. He’s back up in distance and has switched to the all weather for his handicap debut with the multiple champ Colin Keane remaining in the saddle.
Flash Bardot was a little unlucky on her racecourse debut at Wolverhampton as she was caught behind runners as the winner was setting sail for home off the turn. She can provide trainer Jack Channon with an opening winner with only his fourth runner.
Gannon Glory made a pretty decent impression on his first try for the new stable under Richard Fahey, which was off a five-month break. He should improve significantly after that run and the return to 6f looks to be bang up his street as well.

Elisheva hadn’t shown a great deal for her previous handler but proved a different proposition when going down narrowly on her first run under David O’Meara. Natural improvement, with the added bonus of Mark Winn taking off an incredibly valuable 5lbs, should see her break her duck.
